Lewis, the film was directed by Tim Johnson and Karey Kirkpatrick (in the latter's feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by Len Blum, Lorne Cameron, David Hoselton and Kirkpatrick, and features an ensemble voice cast consisting of Bruce Willis, Garry Shandling, Steve Carell, William Shatner, Avril Lavigne, Wanda Sykes, Nick Nolte, Thomas Haden Church, Allison Janney, Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara and Omid Djalili. Based on the comic strip of the same name created by Michael Fry and T. Over the Hedge is a 2006 American computer-animated comedy film produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures (the latter of which acquired the live-action DreamWorks Pictures studio the same year).
